Recent internal data records more than $4 billion in land and rural property for sale in the Bluegrass State. This comprises nearly 296,000 acres of land for sale in the state. Of Kentucky's 120 counties, Pulaski County had the most land for sale. There were 604 acres of sold land in Kentucky recorded last month through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects a reduction in sales activity over data from the previous month. The total value of this sold land and rural real estate was $3 million. In terms of size, Kentucky is the country's 37th-largest state, covering an area of 40,411 square miles (26 million acres). In its entirety, 39,486 square miles is land, while the remaining 921 square miles is made up of water. Game species to be found on land for sale in Kentucky include whitetail deer, turkey, dove, ducks, quail, geese, and pheasant. Fishermen can enjoy casting for bass and catfish.
